Grafted Lakshmi Taru saplings
We grow, graft and ship sexed female Simarouba glauca saplings from named mother trees — 18–24 inch, hardened, in poly bags, packed for transit and couriered anywhere in India.
Pollinator saplings are available too. Pistillate trees carry no pollen and cannot self, so you need roughly one pollinator per twenty females — and we are one of the very few Indian suppliers who list them at all.
[Ask for a rate →] — we reply the same working day, by phone or email. We don't publish rates, because they move with quantity, size and season, and a number on a page is out of date the week after it goes up. Tell us what you need and you'll get a real figure, not a range.

Why grafted, and why it costs more
Softwood cleft grafting and air layering are both reported at around 80% success in this species, so this is established practice, not an experiment.
Simarouba glauca is polygamodioecious — female, male and mixed trees are separate plants, and only the females crop reliably. A seedling's sex cannot be known until it flowers in year four to six.
A grafted plant carries the sex of its mother tree. You know what you have on the day you plant it, instead of finding out five years and one establishment cost later.
Seedlings are cheaper. In a crop with a four-to-six year verification lag, that is not a saving — it is a deferred bill.

How to order
There is no cart on this site, and that is deliberate — a plant order needs a short conversation first.
- Tell us what you need — this form, WhatsApp, or a phone call. Quantity and delivery district matter most.
- We quote and advise — rate, availability, and honestly whether this is the right month to plant in your district.
- You pay by UPI or bank transfer once the rate is agreed.
- We pack and dispatch — courier docket to your WhatsApp, replacement if anything arrives dead.
Before you order
Check the tree suits your land. It needs 400–2,000 mm rainfall, 10–40 °C, under roughly 1,000 m, and soil that drains. It tolerates poor, shallow, gravelly ground. It does not tolerate waterlogging or frost, so North Indian winters generally rule it out. Growing conditions in full →
Check the timing. There are months when we will tell you to wait. Planting into the wrong season is the commonest avoidable loss, and we would rather delay an order than replace a dead one.
Check the arithmetic. 160 trees to the acre, no income for four to six years, and no guaranteed buyer for the seed at the end of it. Work through the economics →
